With lyrics loaded of social content, electronic bossa rhythms and added batucada, the Jupiterjack4u.com netlabel, has released in November of 2008 “Life’s Bossa Nova,” a new joint project between jazz singer Elisa Arteche and the acidjazz collective Jupiter Jack.
It’s a song written in 2004 and masterfully performed by Elisa. It tells the story we face day by day on every stoplight of our city of Santiago, among those children who juggle, clean windshields or simply ask you for a few coins.

Highlights of this song, besides Elisa’s singing, include the lead guitar of Oscar Sepulveda, following along with a catchy melody, supporting the female singing voice. The batucada takes over the song. Played live, this song can transform any concert into a party
Recorded in the home study of the band, masterized by Juan Pablo Quezada of “Santuario Sonico” (Sonic Sanctuary, www.santuariosonico.cl) and under creative commons, this song shows a more humane and socially aware side of Jupiter Jack’s compositions.
